Tour Package
The cost of this quest is €675 per person. A deposit of €200 is due immediately and constitutes acceptance of your registration. The deposit pays for the B&B reservation and to buy Judith’s ticket. Final payment is due June 18, 2010. There will be no refunds!Â
During the trip, we will visit many crop circles and will have a sunrise ceremony at Stonehenge. We will also have a private evening meditation in the beautiful garden of the Chalice Well in Glastonbury. Also on the program are a night watch at Avery, a concert at Salisbury Cathedral, and the opportunity to fly for 20 minutes above the crop circles!
For the first five nights, we will stay at a B&B of Robin and Sarah Hodges near Devizes. Over the weekend, we will stay in Salisbury at Cricket Field House, and on the last two nights, we will be back in Devizes. The B&B in Devizes is a cozy farmhouse with twin rooms and Cricket Field House has a few single rooms. We advise you to find a buddy with whom you'd like to share a room and let us know on your application.

- Ten (10) nights’ accommodations in Devizes and Salisbury, England
- Breakfast each day
- Entry fees to Stonehenge and Chalice Well in Glastonbury
Trip Does Not Include:
- Air transportation to England
- Ground transportation to and from sites
- Lunch, dinner, or drinks
- Personal expenses, such as laundry service or drinks at meals
- Entry fees to any of the places we will visit (except Stonehenge and Chalice Well)
- Personal day trips you choose to take on your own
- Tips and gratuities for all personnel providing services: porters, housekeepers, guides, waiters, servers, etc.
Helpful Travel Tips
- Travel Insurance Information:
- Travel insurance is always recommended for trip cancellation, baggage lose, etc.
- Passports and Visas:
- No visa is required for most travelers. If you have a questions please check with your Embassy. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your departure date. Copy the front page for emergency reference and keep it separate from your passport. Double check that you have your documents (passport, tickets, etc.) before leaving home. Your passport is vital so put it in a safe place. Do not leave your handbags or luggage unattended.
- Health:
- When packing, be sure you include enough medication to last your entire trip. Immunization is not required for the UK. You may want to bring over-the-counter medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, antihistamine, antiseptic, diarrhea medication, etc.). Small first aid kit with band-aids and small packages of wash-n-dry novelettes are handy.
- Baggage Weight Allowance:
- Carry valuables and medications in your carry-on bag. Most airlines are now charging for checked luggage. Check with your airlines for current weight and luggage restrictions. Put luggage tags on all your bags and include your name and address both inside and outside all luggage and carry-ons. You may want to put an extra suitcase inside your bag for souvenirs. Travel light and try to check one bag going to England.
- Weather and Time:
- July and August are England's warmest months of the year. Most days in summer are warm, but evenings can be cool. Temperatures average around 14 - 20 degrees Centigrade, (58F - 70F) although it can be up to around 28 degrees Centigrade ( 82F) on some days. Temperature higher than this are very unusual. It is a good idea to check on the internet a few days before you leave for a weather update. England is six hours ahead of US Eastern time (EST) and eight hours ahead of US Pacific time (PST). In July, England will be on Daylight Savings Time during the trip.
- Currency, Bank, and Credit Cards:
- The local currency in England is the Pound. The rate of exchange on January 25, 2010 is 1.62 Dollars to the Pound. The rate of exchange varies. You may exchange money at the airport, local banks, and hotel when available. Personal checks are not usually accepted. Credit cards and ATM machines are widely accepted. You may want to call your bank if you plan to use your credit card or ATM in England and advise them of the dates you will be traveling. A combination of cash, ATM, and credit cards are the easiest way to handle money. Remember do not leave valuables in your hotel room. Instead, use hotel safe deposit boxes.
- Electrical Appliances:
- Standard Voltage for England is 220 volts and electrical outlets accept three pin square plugs. You will need an adapter to fit into their plugs and may also need a transformer. If you are planning to bring electrical appliances such as cameras, hair dryers, curling irons, etc., check your local retail stores for adapters and transformers that will work in England.
- Items to Pack:
- It will be warm and sunny during the days and cool in the evenings. We suggest you pack the following:
- Casual clothes—lightweight jeans, comfortable pants, skirts, and dresses are practical for excursions and sightseeing. For visit to churches, knees and shoulders should be covered and you may want to bring a scarf to cover your hair.
- Comfortable shoes that you can walk in. A good pair of walking shoes or a pair of tennis shoes works well. BREAK THEM IN AT HOME.
- A hat, sunglasses, UV sunscreen, and insect replant. If you wear glasses, pack an extra pair.
- A travel alarm clock, a watch, small flashlight, extra batteries, camera, battery chargers, and a video camera
- A small notebook and pen for notes or a journal
- Snacks liked dried fruit, nuts, and granola bars
- Medications, vitamins, herbal teas, Pepto Bismol, aspirin, lomitial or similar medications
- Earplugs if you have a roommate
- Your favorite power objects—crystals/stones, dowsing rods, pendulums, etc.
- You may want to leave your valuable jewelry at home.
